Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable. To help us serve all patients fairly and keep appointment times available, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

The Key Rules

48 hours' notice required Appointments cancelled or rescheduled without at least 48 hours' notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee. The 48-hour period is calculated on business weekdays (Monday–Friday) and does not include weekends.
Rescheduling deposit A $50 deposit may be required to secure your newly scheduled appointment. This deposit will be credited toward your treatment at that appointment.
Forfeited deposit If you cancel or fail to attend your rescheduled appointment, your $50 deposit will be forfeited.
Fee waived if we can fill your spot If you cancel within 48 hours, we will do our best to offer your appointment to another patient. If we successfully fill your slot, no cancellation fee will be charged. The more notice you give us, the better chance of this happening.
By giving us as much notice as possible, there is a much higher chance that no cancellation fee will be charged — please don't hesitate to call us as soon as you know.

Exceptions Under Australian Consumer Law

There are specific situations under Australian Consumer Law where cancellation fees will not apply. These include extreme or unforeseen events beyond your control that make it impossible to provide reasonable notice or attend your appointment — for example, a bushfire or a car accident. Please notify us if such circumstances apply.

Please note: Cancellations due to illness are not exempt from this policy. Cancellation fees are applied at our discretion, and we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise.
